Stunning with a light shower of crystal

Looking ahead to the holidays and making plans to entertain family and friends often means making home improvements, sprucing up décor, and lately, incorporating a pop of color or touch of glamour. One change that can make an impact is the addition of a stunning light fixture. Before making a purchase, it is a good idea to get up to date on the latest styles and trends.

When it comes to entertaining, outdoor living remains a top priority for homeowners. To satisfy the growing demand for outdoor-rated fixtures, lighting manufacturers now offer a wider variety of types and styles that can be used anywhere. Outdoor lanterns with a black or burnished bronze finish are quite popular and suit most architectural styles.

Whether indoors or out, large statement fixtures are trending up. Sparkle is in; no need to shy away from crystals in any space. Also making a big splash are small or medium-sized fixtures in attention-grabbing colors, such as pale blue, sage green, taupe, even vivid black. A new video from Hinkley highlights a resurgence in glamorous lighting and ways to bring out the best in any home.
