Light Up the Night

Lighting a sidewalk or other pathway is attractive and a safety feature of outdoor lighting. Make sure any outdoor fixture casts its glow downward, so that is does not obscure the vision of you or your guests.

Another key tip for outdoor lighting is to avoid pushing light into a window – yours or a neighbors. The goal is for the light to illuminate only the area outside.
