Monitoring Follow-Up to Tariffs

ALA continues to track the implementation of new tariff mechanisms and updates to the refund process.

State-Level Dark Sky Legislation

We are proactively following dark sky policies in several states, collaborating with ALA Committees to help shape the industry’s principles and priorities. Our goal is to support responsible outdoor lighting while avoiding conflicting state-by-state rules.

Women in Lighting

The Women in Lighting Scholarship application portal is officially OPEN!

Launched by the WIL Philanthropy Committee under the ALA Education Foundation (501(c)(3)), this scholarship supports ALA members pursuing continuing education, conference attendance, and professional certification.
